Revolution Racing

Revolution was born out of the enthusiastic racing endeavours of Mark Ditchfield who took to the track in the early 1990’s. After many years of racing at National level it was time to quit racing and concentrate on supporting other teams.

Revolution officially started in 1999 after Mark Ditchfield, supported by his father Roger (with 30 years experience), raced the 1999 season with a stage 3 Honda VTR and a R1 Yamaha in the British Superbikes and the National Superstocks. That year Mark, a Chartered Mechanical Engineer, decided to hang up his leathers to concentrate on supporting other teams and developing Revolution.

Since Mark’s departure from competitive racing, we have directly helped the following riders.

Gus Scott British Superbike and National Superstocks 2000
Dave Heal British Superbike 2000
Brett Sampson British Superbike and National Superstocks 2001
Nick Chadwick British Superstocks and MRO Championship 2001/02
Jon Kirkham British Superbike and Junior Superstocks 2001/02
Dave Johnson Junior Superstocks 2003
Tony Shaw Aintree Champion 600cc 2001/02

Having the racing experience behind us has enabled Revolution to be confident in its approach to engine tuning, suspension tuning and general logistics at the track.
Revolution has taken a year out of having a direct involvement in racing to concentrate on growing the business but is always on the look out for fresh talent and is currently undergoing discussions with several parties for racing in 2004.
Revolution is proud to have been involved with the aforementioned riders and wishes all of them the very best in the future.
